Work

Illustrative examples.

These are illustrative examples, not client engagements. Each shows how we approach one recurring problem.

Example 01
Financing readiness

From technical proof to an investor narrative

Situation. A deep-tech company with world-class science was raising its first institutional round outside its home market. Investors liked the technology and could not repeat the story back.

What we do

  • Rebuilt the narrative and positioning around what the technology actually does
  • Rebuilt the investor deck from the story down, not the slides up
  • Wrote the fifteen questions investors always ask in this category — and the answers
  • Ran three recorded rehearsal sessions with the CEO
  • Built the target list around investors who already understood the category

What changed. The CEO could tell the story without the deck — and the same narrative then carried the roadshow, the data room and the first board update.

Example 02
M&A / de-SPAC

Choosing the right bank and counsel — with a framework

Situation. A company considering a de-SPAC had met three banks and two law firms, with nothing to compare beyond reputation and the fee headline.

What we do

  • Built a comparison framework: schedule, sector experience, team continuity, fee structure, disclosure approach and post-close support
  • Prepared the company for the interviews — and for the questions to ask
  • Pressure-tested each pitch against what the transaction would actually require
  • Mapped the public-company disclosure standard the company would meet on day one

What changed. A decision the board could defend, with the trade-offs written down — and a clear view of the disclosure work the first year would demand.

Example 03
Digital presence

An audience map before a website

Situation. A company wanted a new website and a social presence. It had never defined who needed to find it, or why.

What we do

  • Mapped four audiences — investors, customers, talent and media — and what each one needs
  • Built a message architecture so all four read one story
  • Designed the site structure and the editorial system behind it
  • Set a publishing calendar the team could actually sustain

What changed. One site and one content engine, speaking to four audiences without four different stories — measured by engagement, not pageviews.

Example 04
IPO / first-year IR

Quiet period to first earnings

Situation. A company preparing to list needed an investor-relations function it did not yet have, without hiring a department it could not yet justify.

What we do

  • Reviewed the pre-listing narrative and every investor-facing material
  • Trained the executive team for investor and media questions
  • Built the first-earnings playbook
  • Set the post-listing calendar: disclosure, targeting and retail engagement

What changed. The first quarter ran on a system rather than adrenaline — and the same system runs every quarter after.
